Join us for an evening inspired by the warmth and hospitality of a traditional Portuguese table. Together we'll prepare a classic Portuguese meal, share stories behind the dishes, and gather around the table to enjoy supper together.

The evening's menu features bifanas (traditional Portuguese pork sandwiches), caldo verde (Portuguese kale soup), creamy arroz doce (Portuguese rice pudding), and a selection of traditional Portuguese bread served with cheeses, butter, and olive oil.

Whether you come with a date, a friend, or on your own, you'll be welcomed to a table where good food and conversation take center stage.

Throughout the evening, you'll enjoy:

  • Preparing traditional Portuguese bifanas

  • Making classic caldo verde from scratch

  • Learning the story and traditions behind each dish

  • A table of Portuguese breads, cheeses, butter, and olive oil

  • A shared family-style supper

  • A seasonal beverage inspired by Portugal

A few things to note:

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early

  • Wear closed-toe shoes

  • Long hair should be tied back

  • Notify us of any allergies

  • Because ingredients and preparation are purchased in advance, workshop registrations are generally non-refundable.

    Cancellations made at least 7 days before the class may receive a class credit or refund minus processing fees. Cancellations within 7 days of the class are non-refundable.

  • Workshops are designed for ages 17+ unless otherwise noted.

  • No prior cooking experience is required. Beginners and experienced home cooks are welcome.
